Here is a bit about me

It all began with the body

Having worked in the NHS as a midwife across all areas of maternity care, I now work in sexual health and am a qualified lactation consultant (IBCLC), currently training as a Birthlight-certified teacher in baby massage.

I realised early on in my midwifery career that I needed to know more about the body and movement, and so I studied dance and movement and got my Masters in Dance at Trinity Laban while working as a midwife. I’ve been interested in researching the body, creativity and connection ever since!

Working with individuals, couples and families in the antenatal period and when their babies have arrived (earth side!) has been a privilege and is an ongoing source of learning for me.

I continue to move, dance, and write, working to connect the science of pregnancy and lactation with the stories that we all tell and the uniquely creative ways we all live our lives.
